How to cancel DoorDash DashPass

Steps (from the official help page)

Open the DoorDash app or go to doordash.com and sign in.
Tap the account icon.
Go to Manage DashPass.
Tap Cancel Membership.
Pick a reason for cancelling, then select Select reason.
Select Cancel DashPass.
DoorDash shows that your membership was canceled. Select Got it to go back to Manage DashPass, and look for DoorDash's confirmation email.

Timing matters. DoorDash says to cancel at least 24 hours before your next scheduled payment to avoid being charged for the next period.
After you cancel a paid membership, DoorDash says your benefits last until the end of the current billing period.
On a free trial or free period? DoorDash says your benefits end immediately when you cancel.
Free trials auto-renew. DoorDash's What is DashPass? page says that when a trial ends you're automatically enrolled in the plan you picked and a payment method on your account is charged, and it keeps renewing until you cancel.
Got the limited-time 12 months of free DashPass offer (Oct 28 to Nov 30, 2026)? DoorDash's FAQ says that after the 12 months you're charged the then-current fee, currently $9.99 a month plus tax, until you cancel. Cancelling early ends the free trial right away, and each person gets the offer only once.
Only need a break? On the Manage DashPass page you can choose Pause Membership, then Pause DashPass, instead of cancelling.
Cancel through Manage DashPass. DoorDash says you get a confirmation email once your membership is canceled, so keep it.
DashPass from a DoorDash Rewards Mastercard? DoorDash says to cancel before that free period ends to avoid charges for the next period.
