How to cancel Spotify Premium

Steps (from the official help page)

1. Go to Manage your plan on your Spotify account page.
2. Select Cancel subscription.
3. Premium stays until your next billing date, then your account switches to free.

Good to know

• Family/Duo members can't cancel the plan; only the plan manager can.
• No option to change plan? Your plan is billed through a partner (e.g. mobile or internet provider); use their contact link on your account page.
• Spotify also accepts cancellation via a form linked on the help page.

If cancelling doesn't work

• Take screenshots of each step and note the date and time you tried.
• If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, cancel there instead: Apple · Google Play.
• Contact the company's support through the official page above and keep the reply.
• US residents can report the company at reportfraud.ftc.gov or file a complaint with the BBB.
• Ask your card issuer how to stop future recurring charges, or use a pausable virtual card for future sign-ups.
